  KeyStart driving school has a really great instructor in the person of Simon. He is very friendly, reliable and easy to get along with. His patience easily puts the learner at ease. He also has a wonderful sense of humour that relieves the learner of any unnecessary guilt when (unpardonable) mistakes are committed. Importantly, his style of teaching helps the learner discard the bad driving habits that are always taken for granted on our roads. Thanks to his skilful guidance, I passed my test. Any learner who deals with him is in more than a pair of safe hands. Highly recommended.

  Simon is a very patient & knowledgeable instructor. He was always supportive and went out of his way to fit lessons in for me. Under Simon's guidance I passed my test first time and felt confident and safe to drive.

  KeyStart driving school allowed me to pass my test first time, and be confident doing it. Simon’s style will not allow the driver to develop any bad driving habits from the start. Simon is a very approachable and polite instructor with a very good knowledge base. I would recommend KeyStart to anyone. Thanks.

  Simon is a great teacher and has all of the qualities that i could hope for from a driving instructor - patient, reliable, knowledgeable and enjoyable to be around. I started with absolutely no experience of cars at all and no confidence in my abilities to pass any sort of practical test - but now i am a comfortable, confident driver very much enjoying my independence

  simon is a really good teacher he helped me learn a lot when driving. he gave me confidence and was very patient when i made mistakes. i would recommend him as a instructor to any new learner. he was easy to get along with and was a good friend to me. he helped me pass my test first time and encouraged me to do my pass plus which i was nervous about but passed easily.

  Simon is an extremely patient and helpful instructor. He's very reliable and works around you at your convenience rather than his. I came to him after three other driving instructors not getting on with them, and not looking forward to another one, but with his humour he showed me how fun driving can be, and despite telling him all along I wouldn't drive when I passed, I am now driving around. He always looks for the positives even when going horribly wrong, and works step by step to improve your driving which at times is needed to calm nerves. Even after my test - passing first time, I continued to do my pass plus with him, and in the break i'd had in-between passing my test and doing pass plus, nerves had appeared again, but soon disappeared with the calm lessons and Simon's calm nature. I would definitely and have recommend Simon to people wanting to learn how to drive as he was not only an instructor but also a friend.

  i was quite a nervous driver to begin with by the end i had as much confidence as any other driver on the road. Simon is a great teacher, lots of fun, and puts you at ease instantly. Thanks Simon.

• Great Instructor- highly recommended

  Simon Williams is a very patient and helpful instructor. He's very reliable and works around you. I began learning to drive with little confidence but after only a few lessons began to feel at ease with Simon. He always looked for the positives and gave me gentle pointers at what i needed to improve, which really calmed my nerves. I appreciated all the DVD's and books he lent me to help me with my theory and also my practical. I would definatley recommend Simon to anyone wanting to learn how to drive as he was a lovely person to work with. Thanks Simon!

  I came to Simon as a previously licenced driver (US) who didn't like driving very much and probably had a few bad habits to boot. He was extremely patient with me and really helped me improve both my skills and my confidence. He was lovely to work with, always friendly and gentle with his corrections which really calmed my nerves. I was thrilled to pass my test the first try!

  I had previosuly had trouble passing my driving test at home before I came to Lancaster. The problems were mainly down to nerves on the day test. I felt at ease all of the time when I was taught by Simon and with every possible area scrutinised before my test I had every confidence that I would pass. He was very appraoachable and clearly had a great knowledge and a great passion for driving. He also always looked for the positives and made me a much more confident driver than I ever thought I could be.
