An excellent barbershop experience

I stopped by Caz's on the way up to the Lake District this summer. The shop is on the main A6 going into Lancaster, nicely signposted on the left hand side of the road. The shop is small (two chairs), clean and bright. I didn't see the barber when I entered and after I had closed the door Caz emerged from the back. Having lived overseas for some time I hadn't realised Caz would be a woman - normally my barbers are men. However, she was friendly, polite and very easy on the eye so I thought why not give it a try. She did not disappoint. She is not afraid to use the clippers and is very skilful with them. Within minutes she had reduced my straggly locks to a smart crew cut, edges cleanly defined. Price was very reasonable. I would not hesitate to go back there again if I was in the area.
