• Offensive Owner

  As a civil engineer who has built model rc aircraft for over 30 years I decided my next project would be a P-40 (Top Flight kit maybe not ARTF) so that I could use my DA50R purchased some time ago. I decided on a P-40 as the exhaust stacks could be fabricated to fit the DA50 giving me a unique model with working exhaust. I explained my intentions to the owner of this shop and he made a few calls for a kit (showed me a ARTF) whilst saying that didn’t think he could get bullshi@ parts in mid flow conversation. I took a breath as I couldn’t believe my ears and challenged the statement, he said OH it’s just what I call them, but obviously aimed the comment at me. I understand people can make stuff up but he didn’t even know me as it was my first visit to the shop as I just moved into the area, it will be my last visit! The £1500 cash in my pocket went back in the bank and will be spent buying online. I will also tell every club member I know about it and hope they boycott the shop as well.
